My name is Hilary Hennessey, my pronouns are she/her, and I am from Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. I am a recent graduate of the Bachelor of Social Work program at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador (MUNL). I am a person with ADHD and am known in the province for my disability and education advocacy. I have been awarded for my student accessibility and inclusion advocacy work throughout my undergraduate degree by being named the 2022 recipient of the Glenn Roy Blundon Memorial Scholarship.
I have been extremely involved in student leadership and am continuing that throughout my graduate degree. I am currently enrolled in the Master of Health Ethics program at MUNL. I am interested in conducting research on the ethical implications of inaccessibility in health care. Fun fact about me is that I am the first person in my family to pursue postgraduate studies!
