Senate Fails to Strike Voucher Program from OBBB
Tues., July 1, 2025 — Congress continues to debate and vote on the One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB) and amendments to the bill with implications for disabled students and individuals across our country. The National Center for Learning Disabilities has helped to lead advocacy efforts in opposing a national private school voucher program that would send federal tax dollars to private schools that do not have to abide by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) or other civil rights laws.
