As a sophomore at Georgetown University, Cade Spencer plans to double major in Political Science and English. Originally from Austin, Texas, Cade pursues passions in educational equity and learning disability policy reform in Washington, D.C.
He recently conducted research on Texas dyslexia policy as an international Laidlaw Undergraduate Research and Leadership Fellow, and he hopes to continue to work towards reform within his home community and at the federal level. Leading with joy and compassion, Cade highly values his work with the Georgetown University Center for Social Justice, and he is honored to serve on the fifth cohort of the NCLD’s YALC.
