Celebrating Public Schools Week 2024

We are excited to join the Learning First Alliance in celebrating Public Schools Week 2024 from February 26 to March 1. It’s a time to appreciate educators, students, and entire school communities while championing the value of public education.

Public Schools Week emphasizes the inclusive spirit of public education, affirming that every child deserves a quality education, regardless of background, socio-economic status, or abilities. This week is about showcasing local public schools’ incredible achievements and advocating for the resources needed to prepare the next generation.

Public Schools Week also emphasizes the crucial role public schools play in supporting students with learning disabilities. These schools provide inclusive environments where every child can thrive, emphasizing the NCLD’s commitment to educational equality.

As part of the #HerefortheKids campaign, uniting families, educators, and communities to spotlight the positive aspects of local public schools, show gratitude to teachers, share success stories on social media, and highlight initiatives making a difference for children.
