What We Do

Young Adult Leadership
Council

Young adults with learning and attention issues are the future of our movement. NCLD works to empower, engage, and support them to be advocates and leaders for students across the country.

Our efforts ensure that young adults with learning disabilities and attention issues have a chance at a successful and rewarding career and can fulfill their lifelong education goals.

Leadership Council

Join the Leadership Council

NCLD wants to inspire a new generation of young leaders in the disability rights movement. Or recommend a young adult you know who is passionate about self-advocacy and helping others.

Read Our Blog: Engaged & Empowered

Hear directly from young adults with learning and attention issues in our blog, Engaged & Empowered. They describe their experiences transitioning from high school to college, the workplace, and life; their pathways to self-advocacy and empowerment; and their challenges securing support and accommodations that will ensure their success.
