WASHINGTON – June 2, 2020 – The National Center for Learning Disabilities calls for meaningful action to combat the prejudice, violence, and death that threaten Black lives daily. These tragedies expose the systemic racism in our nation. Together we must acknowledge and dismantle our broken systems. NCLD is committed to the fight for inclusion and educational equity. We will continue to learn from our partners and join with them to fight institutionalized racism. We will also work tirelessly to create a society in which every individual can learn, work, and thrive.
