Young Adult Leadership Director

NCLD is seeking a self-starter with experience in and passion for working with young adults (ages high school through 26 years) preferably, those with learning and attention issues. This person will oversee two existing elements of NCLD’s work: our Young Adult Leadership Council and our Scholarship Program. But, most importantly, we are looking for a creative, passionate, mission-driven individual who can help us enhance these programs and develop outstanding new programming that will help young adults with learning and attention issues cultivate  leadership and advocacy skills. This is an area of our work that we are ready to grow and we are looking for someone with great ideas, lots of passion, a sense of fun, outstanding communication skills, and a commitment to our cause.

The Regina Cooper Internship – For Individuals With LD and/or ADHD

The Regina Cooper Internship is an opportunity for college students or recent graduates with learning disabilities (LD) and/or Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) to work with members of the NCLD team on a variety of projects across different program areas within the organization. The purpose of this internship is to provide opportunities for interns to contribute meaningfully to the work of NCLD, while honing interests and developing skills that will be helpful for career development and for successful transition to higher education or the workplace.
